Frequently asked questions

When does it start?

The test phase starts in October 2026. The launch in Neubiberg follows. Providers and drivers who pre-registered are in first!

What does pre-registering cost?

Nothing. HeyParking is free to use in general. Only when a driver books a parking space does that driver pay a service fee.

What do I earn as a provider?

You set your own price and receive it in full when a driver books. You can see your earnings at any time in your HeyParking dashboard, and at the end of the year HeyParking sends you a statement of your income.

I have a Wallbox or PV system — what's in it for me?

Your charge point becomes bookable: EV drivers in your neighbourhood charge at your place — and you earn from every hour of charging. No other provider links the two.

How safe is renting out?

Rental agreements are created automatically through the platform — secure for both sides. Payment is handled through Stripe. The communication between provider and driver is stored at HeyParking.

Is my parking space suitable?

Almost every private parking space qualifies: driveway, carport, underground garage or outdoor space. A Wallbox is a plus, not a requirement.

Your data is not passed on. No advertising, no newsletters. We need your data to open up new HeyParking municipalities and cities, and your email address so we can tell you when you can use HeyParking in full.
